Ceremony Rehearsal

Hi Everybody! We're getting close to the big day, and we can't wait to see you all! Just a reminder to those of you who have a part in the ceremony that our rehearsal will be Friday, May 29, at the Memorial Union Secret Garden at 2 p.m. Parking adjacent to the Union is unfortunately not free, but there are two pay lots right outside.

Hi There!

Welcome to our wedding website and thanks for sharing in our celebration with us! As our wedding date gets closer, we will continue to update this site with more information and tips.

Love,
Julie & Ian

Friday Night Welcome Dinner

Ian's mom and dad invite all wedding guests to a welcome dinner and game night on Friday, May 29, from 6:45 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The event will be held in the Meadow Park Common Room, which is part of the main office building at Meadow Park Apartments. The main office is across the drive from the pool.

Reception

The wedding reception will take place at 2 p.m., May 30, 2009, at Michael's Uptown Cafe in downtown Bloomington. The restaurant is normally closed at this time, so you may need to let the greeter know that you're with Julie and Ian when you get to the door.

Bloomington Visitors Bureau

My sister just reminded me about the Bloomington Visitors Bureau, which is a great resource for learning about places to stay, what to do, and where to go in Bloomington. We recommend requesting a free Breakaway Bloomington guide from them -- it includes a great paper map of the city with points of interest, and they send it through the mail in 1 to 2 weeks.
